LinStar Events provides the following event support services, and offers the flexibility of combining of any of these roles dependent on your event needs.
Wedding/Event Coordinator
Take the stress out of your event by recruiting Linden as your event coordinator. She will develop an understanding of your event schedule prior to the day, oversee the itinerary to assist your event running on time, coordinate suppliers, be your 'go to' person on the day, and mitigate and resolve issues so that you can enjoy your event with minimal interruptions.
This package includes the following services which can be tailored according to your needs:

Phone consultations to discuss itineraries, suppliers, menus and the venue.

A face-to-face meeting and tour of the venue to walk through the itinerary and set up.

Being the point of contact for supplier enquiries on the day, overseeing bump in and bump out times and providing guidance/direction where needed.

Management of the running sheet to ensure that the event runs to schedule, such as prompting speakers and queuing entertainment/audio visual (AV).

Liaising with venue staff regarding facilities, AV and food and beverage service.
-
Ushering guests on arrival.
-
Acting as the point of contact to mitigate and resolve issues.

Supporting you during the event and being your 'go to' person for any needs.

Packing up at the conclusion of the event.
Bartender/Cocktails/Pop-up Bar
Make your special event memorable with an engaging bartender to serve drinks and keep the bar well stocked and tidy so that you can enjoy your function.
This package includes:

A 30-minute phone consultation to go over your event details, itinerary and offer general advice to support your event planning. If selecting cocktails, advice on recipes, ingredients and quantities required to inform your shopping list will also be provided.

Professional and responsible service of alcohol (RSA certified).

Keeping the bar clean and presentable during service, and washing glassware where possible.

All bartending and cocktail-making equipment, including cocktail shakers, jiggers, strainers, stirrers, bottle openers, ice bucket and tongs, drinks tray and tea towels.

Two silver champagne bowls for displaying drinks at the bar, e.g. champagne and beer.
-
A black-board style drinks menu board.

Public Liability insurance.
Glassware is also available for hire, including coupe glasses, champagne flutes, wine glasses and tumblers.
Cocktail/Mocktail making class
This is a fun and interactive session for your guests to learn the basics of cocktail (or mocktail) creating, including the history of the cocktail selected and cocktail shaking techniques. Depending on the type of cocktail selected, it may be possible to make a mocktail alternative and explore cocktail recipe variations. For example, if making a classic margarita, guests could then try making a chilli-infused margarita.
This package includes:

A fun and informal hour of cocktail making for your guests (alcohol and ingredients to be provided by the host).

Arrival 45 minutes minutes beforehand to set up, plus 30 minutes to pack up upon conclusion of the class.

Glassware and cocktail making equipment provided, e.g. shakers, strainers, stirrers and jiggers.

A 15-minute phone consultation prior to the day to discuss your cocktail selection, recipe and advise on ingredients for your shopping list.
Grazing Tables and Platters
Grazing tables are time consuming and challenging to arrange in an impressive way. They also take much longer to assemble than expected, and need to be done just prior to guests arriving when so many other tasks require your attention as host. Take the stress out of your event and recruit a catering styling to put together a beautifully-styled and garnished grazing table using ingredients you've purchased.
This packages includes:

A recommended shopping list to suit your budget, such as gourmet cheeses, cured meats, dips, antipasto, fruits and vegetables, dried fruits and nuts, bread and dried biscuits.

Arrival approximately 2 hours prior to your event (preparation time dependant on guests numbers) to prepare all ingredients and style on the grazing table.

Decorations to garnish your grazing table, such as flowers and native cuttings.

A brown paper runner to line your table and matching napkins.

A 15-minute phone consultation to discuss food selections and dietary requirements.
Catering Assistant (Finger Food/Canapés)
If you're planning an event with canapés and don't want to be stuck in the kitchen all night assembling them, you need someone you can trust to ensure your catering is plated and styled professionally.
This package includes:

A phone consultation to discuss the menu and timings, and provide suggestions and advice to assist with your planning.

Assistance with assembling, heating, plating and styling finger food and canapés (capacity to serve is dependent on guest numbers and/or staff numbers).

An understanding of dietary allergies and intolerances.
-
Maintaining a clean and presentable kitchen throughout service.
